porch in one line
porch is the page in your bio and the place your friends, fans and teammates actually talk.
porch in one paragraph
porch is the page in your bio and the place your friends, fans and teammates actually talk. Everyone gets a page, with templates for people, creators, teams, schools and businesses, instead of a list of buttons. Every post opens a room, a group chat for everyone who came for it, instead of a comment section. One invite link brings a whole group chat over at once, already friends with each other. There are no likes or follower counts, and accounts are verified in person, so bots can’t get a badge. porch is in early preview at dotporch.com.

What’s different
- Pages that fit. Templates for people, creators, teams, schools and businesses, each with its own sections, instead of one list of links.
- Rooms, not comments. Every post opens a group chat for everyone who came for it.
- Living posts. A game, a launch or a plan updates in one post instead of scattering across a feed.
- ID badges. Badges replace profile circles, and a porch light on each shows who’s around.
- Verified in person. People earn the hologram from two verified people who’ve met them. Organizations prove their website.
- Group invites. One link brings a whole group chat over at once, already friends with each other.
- No vanity numbers. No likes and no follower counts.
- Money in the conversation. Pay friends and split costs in rooms; amounts stay between the people involved. Coming soon.
- Themes that know the time. City themes follow the time of day, light by day and dark after sunset.
Logos
The logotype is drawn letter by letter. Its first letter’s window is the porch light, and the window is the only part that changes. Please don’t redraw it, recolor the letters or set “porch” in another font as the logo.
